Locate Isle of Man has updated its website advising potential newcomers about doctor/patient ratios.
Manx.News contacted the Department for Enterprise about the figures after concerns were raised by a recruiter.
The website, which promotes job opportunities on the island, had said that the island benefits from “14 GP practices across the Island with an average of 1,900 patients per GP”.
However, the latest Isle of Man in Numbers report shows that this figure was several years out of date.

The latest figures show that the island has the fewest GPs it has had at any point since 2012 and has an average of 2,689 patients per GP.
A DfE spokesperson said: “The department would like to thank those who brought this to our attention and confirm that the information highlighted has now been updated to ensure the Locate Isle of Man website remains accurate and up to date.
“This was an administrative oversight, and we are committed to providing reliable and current information for new residents and those considering relocating to the island.”
