The weather is rubbish, but if anyone needed a pick me up that we are approaching the end of winter, here it is as the Manx Electric Railway season started today (March 12).
The first trams departed from Douglas at 09:45am (Timetable B) this morning and the opportunity to enjoy some of the most magical coastal views on the Isle of Man has commenced.
Isle of Man Transport thanks all the team at Isle of Man Railways and its seasonal staff as the 2024 season begins.
Maybe I’m just old and biased, but I think there is something rather special about the Manx Electric Railway and that we should each treasure and enjoy it.
