This evening the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) will be hosting a free one-hour webinar at 7.30pm; The webinar aims to keep paddleboarding fans safe in the sea this summer.
The RNLI’s Water Safety Team and Canoe Wales will be covering:
- What to pack when paddleboarding;
- What to consider when planning your trip and where to get on the water;
- Understanding your equipment;
- How to call for help;
- How to unlock your Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) adventure and further your SUP knowledge;
Hear from an RNLI lifeboat volunteer who’s rescued SUPers – as well as hearing directly from someone who’s been rescued.
