The MSPCA are reminding the public to not disturb nesting birds as it has had quite a few arrivals into its aviary and wildlife unit over the past few weeks.
All nesting birds, their eggs and nests are legally protected from disturbance, damage and destruction.
Several of the young birds and mammals have accidentally been disturbed and discovered, fallen from nests and caught by other animals.
It also asks that the public avoids trimming trees and hedges durning the nesting season.
