Eyres finished 16th overall, posting a 65.000 all‑around total, a steady, disciplined set of routines marred only by a slight fall on vault. Even that, he said, didn’t take away from the pride he felt in delivering a largely clean performance on the biggest stage of his season.

Eyres was open about the whirlwind that brought him into the final.
Speaking to Manx.news after the final, he said he didn’t expect to compete until he got the call late last night, describing the opportunity as “just a bonus to be here.” That sense of gratitude shaped his performance, relaxed, grounded, and focused on doing his job rather than chasing a result.
“To be honest, I was just so happy to be part of the final. Fall on vault cost me a couple marks, but to go clean… really proud of myself.”
Eyres praised the event atmosphere, volunteers and staff, saying the team had enjoyed every moment since arriving on Monday.
“Everything’s been really good. And we’ve got another couple of days of it to enjoy…..“All the friends and family are watching. I’ve got my family here in the crowd. I know people back home watching as well. The support’s been amazing.”
