A family in the south of the island is opening up a field of wildflowers to the public, all in aid of charity.
After a family wedding the Coole family of Coole Girl Eggs have lots of wildflowers growing in their field, and say it “seems a shame to let the cows eat them”.
On August 31 they will be opening up the field to anybody that would like to come and pick a bunch in return for a small donation to Hospice IOM and the IOM Agricultural Benevolent Trust.
For Charity
The wildflower field is located on the Ballamodha Straight towards the south.
There will be signs at the gateposts and the field will be accessible to all as you can drive right up to the flowers.
The field will be open from 9am onwards on Saturday, August 31.
