Newbuild first time buyer homes are included as part of several new developments currently progressing across the Island.
One such development is nearing completion of its first phase in the north of the island.
The Ballagarraghyn development in Jurby will include six two bedroom energy efficient homes for first time buyers in its first phase ready in autumn 2024.
First Time Buyers
The new houses will be priced at £175,000 through the First Home Fixed Scheme.
Eligible first time buyers can purchase these homes with equity loan assistance from the DoI together with their mortgage borrowing and a required minimum 5% deposit.
In a future phase the development will include an additional 12 x two bedroom and three x three bedroom houses for first time buyers.
