The Lord Mayor of Liverpool Richard Kemp has paid tribute to Noble’s Hospital while on a visit with his Douglas counterpart.
On September 23, the Children’s Ward, Frailty Unit, Emergency Department and Surgery were visited by the Lord Mayor, along with the Mayor of Douglas Natalie Bryon-Teare JP and the Mayor’s consort, Andrew Teare.
The mayors spent time on the hospital grounds, speaking to many Manx Care employees across a range of clinical and non-clinical roles.

The Lord Mayor met staff who are actively involved in the partnerships with Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital, Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre.
He said he is “eager to strengthen” the partnership between the hospitals and Manx Care.
And said: “I am impressed with the range of services offered by Manx Care to the island and delighted by the strategic links they have with Liverpool.
“I stand ready to assist in strengthening those links and look forward to working with Manx Care to build on the achievements from this partnership.”
