After sleet and snow overnight it is still cold this morning, with the possibility of ice in some areas.
The Met Office’s yellow warning says this is most like in areas above 1,000 FT and low-level areas sheltered from the fresh northeast wind.
Turning to Tuesday, it will be cold with icy patches to start but otherwise sunny spells.
Moderate to fresh mainly northerly wind and a top temperature of 6°C.
There is the risk of wintry showers later in the evening or overnight into Wednesday.
