Marown will look to end 2024 with a famous win this weekend as they look to kickstart a most unlikely great escape.
The side is currently bottom of the Canada Life Premier League and faces the bizarre possibility of successive relegations from the top flight.
In their way this week are St Mary’s, the side which relegated them last season before a reprieve came their way due to issues at another club.
While Marown have only three points so far this season, they were unlucky not to get something from their last game at Rushen and were only denied a win over Railway Cup winners Ayre Utd by a remarkable second half comeback.
Top Flight
Elsewhere in the top flight, Onchan, still keeping an eye over their shoulder given their promoting to the bottom two, will welcome Corinthians to the Nivison Stadium.
The O’s have picked up a decent 10 points so far this season and took a point off Ayre last time out, but Corinthians will want to close the gap to Peel and Ayre with those sides given the weekend off after their Boxing Day final.
Laxey will also be hoping they can start to reel in the top two this weekend as they welcome mid table Union Mills to Glen Road, while the other games see Ramsey welcome Foxdale and Rushen travelling to St Johns.

With no game for Old Boys, Braddan will be looking to extend their lead at the top when they travel to Noble’s Park to face Governor’s Athletic on Saturday.
A win would send the Swans five points clear, but their Blackberry Lane rivals will have two games in hand.
Across the division, Michael head to Douglas Royal, Pulrose welcome Castleton and Colby have a long trip to Ramsey to fave RYCOB.
This weekend’s games kick off at 2pm.
