Officers from the Douglas Community Team are holding a bike register event outside the Sefton Hotel on Monday between 10am – 2pm.
Members of the public are invited to come along with their bike to have it marked (with a sticker) and registered for free.
Bike Register is a market leader in the field of property marking and asset identification and it is a powerful crime reduction tool for police forces across the UK.

This simple initiative will provide bike owners additional security, prevent the theft of bikes, but also enable the police to return them to their owners, should they be lost or stolen.
Kits will not be issued without a bike and once they’re gone, that’s it!
The constabulary have 100 kits, and are warning bike owners to leave it until last minute.
