Reggie Oasgood ran a brilliant Marathon debut time of 2:55:18 in last Sunday’s Chester Marathon.
Subject to ratification, this is a new Isle of Man record in the Junior Men (U20) category, beating the previous mark of 3:01:08 set by Ryan Teare in 2022.
Best known in football in recent years as a goalkeeper for Braddan, Reggie clearly has great potential as a distance runner.
