Several drivers have warned about damage to their vehicles while passing roadworks in Braddan.
The roadworks are the ones ongoing near Braddan Primary School.
One motorist said she went through on Sunday evening and on using the off ramp, her car suffered two flat tyres.
She said: “When I called recovery, they said that I was the 6th call out today with flat tyres from the same area.
“There is a bit of raised metal work with a sharp edge which is cutting the side of the tyre walls. He got another call out on the way back to pick my car up.”
Other drivers said they had experienced similar issues, with one man said he had “both front and back tyres slashed by the grid by Braddan School.”
Other commentators on the Facebook post said they had been in contact with the DoI which had contacted the contractor for the site.
