Manx Care has outlined the latest position on pay settlements across several staff groups.
It has confirmed awards for Public Services Commission (PSC) and Manx Pay Terms & Conditions (MPTC)/National Joint Council (NJC) employees, while negotiations continue for Health, Medical and Dental staff.
Although Manx Care was not directly involved in PSC negotiations, it is the stationed employer for many PSC staff.
The 2025–26 pay award was set at 3% through independent arbitration and was paid in February 2026 to all PSC employees who were in post on December 18, 2025.
Pay Awards
Manx Care and staff-side unions agreed the pay settlements for 2024–25 and 2025–26.
- The 2024–25 award was set at 5%, with 4% already paid in March 2025. The remaining 1% will be paid to MPTC/NJC staff employed on 2 March 2026 in their March 2026 salary.
- The 2025–26 award has been agreed at 3%.
Manx Care thanked its payroll team for the additional work required to process these payments within the current financial year.
The organisation also reminded staff that neither the PSC nor MPTC pay agreements provide payments to leavers; eligibility for backpay and uplifts depends on being employed on the specified qualifying dates.
Negotiations Ongoing
For Health, Medical and Dental staff, Manx Care has made an offer for 2025–26, but it has not yet been accepted.
In February, staff-side representatives were invited to conciliation through the Manx Industrial Relations Service (MIRS).
