Entries for this year’s Parish Walk will close at midnight on Monday, May 4, with organisers urging anyone still considering the challenge to sign up before the deadline.
More than 900 walkers have already registered for the event, which takes place on June 20.
Open to participants of all abilities, the Parish Walk allows entrants to set their own goal, from reaching a single parish to attempting the full 85‑mile route within 24 hours.
Organiser Ray Cox said the event’s appeal lies in its mix of personal challenge and community spirit.
“It’s a truly unique event that brings a mix of people together in a fantastic atmosphere,” he said. “Whether you’re aiming for a particular parish or taking on the full distance, it’s an unforgettable experience. We’d encourage anyone thinking about entering to sign up now and be part of something special.”
Entries can be submitted online at parishwalk.com, with the fee covering an official event T‑shirt, timing chip and support services throughout the course.
