Today is the day as TT 2026 finally roars into life with the first practice and qualifying sessions.
With today being a Bank Holiday, there are closures for the whole day, potentially up to 9pm.
The Mountain Road will close from 8:45am, with the rest of the course closing at 10am for free practice.
First off on the world’s greatest course will be the speed control newcomer lap for both the solo and sidecar racers, getting underway at 10:45am.
From 11am, the supersport and sportbike classes will get out for practice ahead of the sidecars at 11:45am and superbike and superstock at 12:40pm.
Qualifying gets underway at 2:15pm with the supersport and sportbikes ahead of the sidecars at 3pm.
The final planned action is the superbike and superstock classes at 3:55pm.
All roads will reopen no later than 9:30pm.
