Isle of Man secondary school students have achieved a 99 per cent pass rate for A-level and other Level 3 qualifications.
Today was results day and the Education Department has issued provisional details.
In secondary schools, the pass rate for A*-E grades (or equivalent) was 99 per cent. The pass rate for A* to B (or equivalent) was 51 per cent and the pass rate for A* to C (or equivalent) was 80 per cent.
At University College Isle of Man (UCM), 78 per cent of students passed their Level 3 qualifications, most of which are the equivalent to three A-level passes. In addition, 75 per cent achieved a merit or distinction.
The department said that, to keep in line with pre-election guidance this year, it was not issuing any specific press release and no political members of the department would be commenting.
