A sixth candidate has put their name forward in Douglas Central constituency for next month’s House of Keys election.
George Hargreaves, festival director of the Isle of Man Film International Festival, made the announcement on social media.
He describes himself as an ordained Christian minister, songwriter, screenwriter, TV and film producer.
The other five candidates to have declared in Douglas Central are Ann Corlett, Andrea Kruger, Peter Shimmin, Chris Thomas and Devon Watson.
September 24 is the date for the House of Keys General Election. There are 12 constituencies, each of which will elect two MHKs.
