Peel hit double figures for a second succussive time on Sunday, demolishing their biggest rivals Corinthians 10-1 at Douglas Road.
The star of the show, again, was Scarlett Callister who netted her second quadruple in consecutive matches. She was joined on the scoresheet by Lisa Costain (3, 1pen), Rachel Blaylock, Jenny Metcalfe and Pippa Wallis.
Douglas & District recorded their first ever win in only their second senior match after beating Union Mills 3-1. Georgia Higgins opened the scoring for the Noble’s Park side, debutant Lauren Harrison doubled their lead shortly after, and the newcomers headed into half-time two to the good. Lou Ruddock pulled a goal back for the Millers, however Higgins netted her second to secure the win and register her side their first points on the league table.
Rushen Utd also romped to their first win of the season, defeating 10 player Onchan 3-0 at Blackberry Lane. Player/manager Donna Harrison gave the southerners a 1-0 half-time lead, before Lucy Kerry and Becky Watterson netted for the Port Erin side in the second half.
