There is no change at the top of the poll in Douglas South, with Sarah Maltby and Claire Christian both re-elected to the House of Keys following Thursday night’s General Election.
Maltby topped the poll with 1,245 votes, while Christian secured the second seat with 1,064 votes.
Dean Bolton (Change) finished third with 518 votes, followed by Livia Lenarduzzi on 399 and Arwid Hall on 204. Neither Bolton, Lenarduzzi nor Hall was elected.
Christian returns to the House of Keys
Christian will return to the House of Keys after securing re-election for Douglas South, having first been elected in a by-election in August 2020 and subsequently re-elected in 2021.
She served as Minister for the Department of Health and Social Care from 2024 to 2026, making her one of the constituency’s returning members with ministerial experience.
Maltby was first elected to the House of Keys in 2021 and has served as departmental member for the Department for Enterprise as member with delegation for the Visit IOM agency and Motorsport from 2024 to 2026.
She also served as political member for the Department of Education, Sport and Culture from 2024 to 2026.
