Former Infrastructure Minister Michelle Haywood is among the candidates for the Port St Mary Commissioners by-election next month.
Haywood, who lost her seat as Arbory and Rushen MHK in September, is standing along with Sarah Comish, Julie Gibney, Ann Murray, Daxaben Patel, Edwin Ryan, William Teare and Matthew Warren, who are all vying for the two available seats on the board.
The vacancies follow the departure of Bernadette Williams and Glenys Brunt.
Residents will be able to vote from 8am until 8pm at Port St Mary Town Hall on December 3.
