A man has been remanded in prison after being accused of attempting to bring cannabis into the Isle of Man.
35-year-old Richard Cain appeared at Douglas Courthouse earlier.
He was arrested and charged yesterday with producing five kilograms of cannabis.
Police said the drugs was found concealed in a suitcase and was identified on the carousel by police dog Harley at Ronaldsway Airport.
Officers said further examination found five kilos of cannabis located in his hold luggage with a current street value of £100,000.00.
This was a joint operation by The Isle of Man Constabulary and Customs and work is ongoing at both the airport and sea ports.
