The Tevir Group has been given permission to hire out up to 20 spaces in the Bottleneck car park for its vehicles whilst it carries out work in Villiers Square.
Douglas Council will be charging the company £120 per space per month for two and a half years – which could raise around £70,000 for the local authority.
This will also be increased every year in line with inflation.
It was confirmed that there shouldn’t be any disruption during the TT fortnight as the works would ‘likely pause’.
