Soon turning wet this morning with rain and drizzle becoming quite heavy, but turning patchy in the afternoon before clearing to isolated showers during the evening.

Maximum temperature today very mild at 12 or 13 Celsius, but with strong south or southwest winds developing.

Later on this evening and into the early hours of tomorrow morning winds will increase further, becoming gale or severe force with gusts of 60mph in places, before beginning to ease towards dawn.

Then through tomorrow winds steadily decrease further, with otherwise mostly dry and bright conditions.
