Firefighters responded to reports of a fire in Peel yesterday.
Crews from Peel, Kirk Michael and Douglas were sent to Market Street in Peel at just before 6pm.
Smoke was seen coming from the property when crews arrived on scene.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus found a pan had been left on the hob, this was removed and the property was ventilated.
