One performance which definitely deserves recognition is Regan Corrin’s 2.04 metres high jump at the Lancashire Track and Field Championships earlier in the month.
This jump at Stanley Park in Blackpool equalled Regan’s indoor personal best set in Sheffield in February, and improved by two centimetres his previous outdoor best set at Loughborough in April.
He is currently ranked number 3 in the UK in the men’s U20 age group for 2024, and it is his first year in the age group.
He is also currently number 8 in the U20 long jump rankings, underlining what a superb start to the season he has had.
