The Department of Infrastructure (DOI) is to install a new, upsized surface water culvert across East Baldwin Road immediately south of ‘The Old School House’.
The aim of this work is to mitigate the risk of surface water flooding affecting the road and properties to the south of this point.
Works are due to start on Wednesday (June 19) and be completed on or before June 28.
East Baldwin works
The East Baldwin Road will be closed to all through traffic at a point just south of ‘The Old School House’, the closure will be on a 24hr basis.
All properties on the East Baldwin Road which are north of the works, together with all properties on Ballachrink Road will be accessible via Ballamodha Road, West Baldwin.
All properties on the East Baldwin Road that are south of the works will be accessible from Ballaoates Road.
