Next week, the Department of Infrastructure is to resurface the carriageway in Cronk Avenue, Birch Hill.
Work will start in Onchan from September 9.
Vehicular access will be maintained to all properties and pedestrian access will not be affected.
A letter has been delivered to residents directly affected describing the scope and how the work is to be phased.
