Sir Mark Cavendish has been named as Aston Martin’s first Global High-Performance Ambassador.
The partnership with the record-breaking cyclist is born from a shared passion for performance, and hopes to deliver insight from the world of high-performance sport.
Aston Martin says the “Manx Missile shares a deep understanding of high performance, unparalleled speed and insatiable thirst for success, which makes him a true one-of-a-kind”.

The 35 stage Tour de France winner drove the DBX707 for the first time on the roads of the Isle of Man.
In his new role, Cavendish will expand Aston Martin’s presence in top-level international sports, building on its high-performance culture and representing the brand at key events.
The DBX707 has been finished in Photon Lime, it reflects both company’s racing heritage and Cavendish’s status as a two-time winner of the coveted green jersey in the Tour de France, and it has even been fitted with a bike rack.
