The days are getting shorter, the weather is getting worse and its time to reacquaint yourself with your waterproofs.
September was, to be fair, fairly kind to us – and I am praying that October shall do the same.
As it stands (don’t attack me if it changes, or if you feel the need to, write the weekend weather yourself) we won’t be getting blown over by a hoolie and a half, but we will be getting a bit wet.
I don’t actually mind the rain, or the wind, just not both together. When joined they’re like that toxic couple we all know; We don’t mind on their own, but together = unbearable.
Lets get into the weather and not my random and unasked for thoughts.
Reacquaint With Winter
Today (October 5) is forecast for any rain at first to soon die out allowing bright or sunny spells to develop – it should be the better day of the weekend.
Fresh southeast winds, with temperatures reaching 16°C – which shan’t be sniffed at during October!
Sunday is forecast to be less sun more rain (get waterproofs out, or just don’t venture out and start the winter baking).
It’ll be cloudy with outbreaks of rain at first with strong winds, then clearing later in the day.
Outlook = Wet
As we look into next week, its sorta as much use as having a crystal ball because the forecasts are changing every two seconds, so take it with a pinch of salt.
Monday is forecast to have sunny intervals and isolated showers, but not a lot of wind!
Wind will be a S or SW 15-20, soon backing S or SE 10-15.
Looking at Tuesday’s forecast we are in for similar situation to Monday with sunny intervals and scattered showers.
Again, the wind isn’t too bad at all with forecasters predicting S or SE 10-15.
I just want it to be May again, and we redo summer, but actually have one.
