Douglas Council’s Regeneration and Community Committee has backed a proposal to host a family-orientated music festival
in Noble’s Park.
The proposal from ELS would see it take over the site the weekend immediately following the end of the DfE’s occupation of the park for TT ends.
This would, it says, allow the company to use the facilities already on site.
The committee report says: “It would be held in the trackside area, and a proposed site plan was shared with members.
“It was intended to finish the event at 9pm each evening to ensure that noise and disturbance to residents is minimised.”
If final approval is granted, it would run from Friday June 20 to Sunday June 22 from 9am to 9pm each day.
