Vagabonds Ladies fell to a defeat by the slimmest of margins this weekend as they lost 22-24 at home to Leigh Ladies.
When the sides met early in the season Leigh ran out 73-36 winners.
In a strong attack display Vagas scored four tries, with two from Malyn Campbell and one a piece from Bliss Murtagh and Freya Crowe.
The additional two points coming from a Sammie Mac conversion.
However, it wasn’t enough for Vagas as they were denied a through a late Leigh try in the final two minutes.
Vagas said: “We fought hard, played clean, and held our own until the final moments.
“Although we lost by just two points, the effort, ball handling, and hits show how far we’ve come.”
Vagas next game is against Eccles in two weeks, the Manx side won 22-7 the last time they sides faced in October.
