Teams from the Department of Infrastructure have had a busy start to 2025 refilling salt bins and gritting roads whilst we experience the cold spell.
Icy conditions are continuing across various parts of the island’s road network, and gritters have been out during the early hours, and are continuing to spread road salt in problem areas.
The DoI have had teams out spreading salt by hand, and refilling salt bins.
