Onchan Jubilee Women’s Institute started its anniversary celebrations with a trip to Government House.
The institute is celebrating 60 years this year and went for a tour with Sir John and Lady Lorimer.
Government House said: “It’s wonderful to be able to open the doors to those who have not been before and to share fascinating stories about the history of the house.
“Following the tour, they enjoyed cups of tea and some delicious cake made by our chef.
“Ladies, congratulations on your 60th year – it was a pleasure to meet you all and thank you for bringing the sunshine.”
