Education Chiefs have identified their top five infrastructure projects, prioritised by building condition and capacity.
The list was confirmed by Sarah Maltby MHK during this week’s Tynwald.
The top five minor works projects, in priority order, are:
- St Ninian’s High School roof replacement
- Ballasalla mobile classroom upgrade
- Onchan School boiler house refurbishment
- Advanced Manufacturing and Training Centre roof replacement (Phase One)
- Crown Corkerry boiler house upgrade
In addition to the minor works, the department is progressing several major capital projects, including the new Castle Rushen High School, the Q2 STEM block, and the expansion of Henry Bloom Noble School.
