Rex Rental, founded in 2018 by Ian Drake, has signed a franchise agreement with global giant Hertz.
From June 1, the company will operate as Hertz Isle of Man.
In a statement, Rex Rental said: “We are to become a full franchise of Hertz, one of the leading names in the global vehicle rental market.”
The company assured customers that local service standards will remain unchanged while benefiting from Hertz’s worldwide expertise.
“As Hertz Isle of Man, we will continue to provide the same great local service you have been used to, but will get the benefits of their global expertise and platforms.”
The rebrand will see Rex Rental’s vehicles and desks updated with Hertz’s signature yellow and black branding.
It said: “The main visible changes will be the rebranding of our desk and vehicles to proudly display the famous yellow and black Hertz logos and expect there will be minimal disruption during this transition.”
