Manx triathlete, Will Draper picked up 2nd place at XTERRA World Cup round at Weston Park.
Will said the event was an “opportunity to race against some of the best off road triathletes in the world”.
On his Instagram, he said: “After not riding a mountain bike since the event last year it was a bit of a shock but just shows how lucky I was that my dad would take me on the trails as a kid with my brother on the Isle of Man and I can now just jump on and bridge to the front pack on a fast single track dominated course.”

He added: “My feet are absolutely shredded from the trail shoes I used without socks, so hopefully they recover quick and allow me to prepare for @challengesamorin in 2 weeks time.”
Will will next head to The Championship Challenge, Samorin-Slovakia on May 18.
