The island’s branch of J D Westherspoon has increased its prices by up to 50p a pint since it opened.
Taking over 1886, the Conister Arms opened its doors in May.
At the time, the price of a pint of Poreti was £4.49, while Stell was £4.50 and Bud Light £2.49.
However, an eagled eyed reader pointed out to Manx.News that these prices had now risen to £4.99 for Poreti and Stella and £2.99 for Bud Light.
They told Manx.News: “If the brewery threw prices up that much there’d be uproar, so I thought your readers would be interested to know.”
