Less than 25% of complaints from Manx Care employees have been upheld in the last five years.
The figures have been released following an FoI request.
Most of the complaints, of which there were 24 in 2024, are categorised as ‘Fairness at work’ issues.
Of the 73 complaints resolved between 2020 and 2025, only 10 were fully upheld and 9 partially upheld.
Internal investigations have increased significantly, with 22 conducted last year but disciplinary action was taken in only two instances and one case was referred to an external body.
One complaint has been escalated to the Employment and Equality Tribunal.
