The Great North Air Ambulance Service is giving islanders a chance to see what its ops team sees when responding to a call.
The charity is hosting its CEO and a crew member this week on the island and hosting an open event tonight.
As well as hearing about the work the charity does, people can meet and chat to the team and hear from patients who have been helped by its service.
As part of this, there is also a VR headset that will give an insight into lifesaving work.
The event is at the Santander Work Cafe on North Quay at 5pm to 6:30pm tonight.
