Manx Care Advice and Liaison Service will host a two-day home first collaboration event next month.
It will take place at The Roundhouse, from 3:30pm to 7:00pm on November 11 and 12.
The event invites everyone to find out more about how local teams are working together to help people stay well and independent in their own homes for longer.
Home First
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet teams from across Manx Care and some of its partner organisations, who will be on hand to share information about:
- Intermediate care – the services that help people recover and regain independence after illness or hospital stays.
- Developments in Primary Care and community services – how they are planning for care to be delivered closer to home.
- Education and training opportunities – resources available for carers, patients, service users and staff.
- Support in your local area – practical ways to access help and advice to stay well at home.
The Home First Collaboration reflects Manx Care’s commitment to improving care through integration, innovation, and partnership – ensuring that people receive the right support, in the right place, at the right time.
