The annual Masonic Christmas public lecture will be delivered by Curator of the JA Brown Masonic Museum Del Peters later this month.
The lecture will be the last event that head of the island’s Freemasons, Martin Blackburn, will attend as Provincial Grand Master before his retirement on December 31.
It will be held on Monday, December 29 at 5:30pm for a 6pm start at the Freemasons Hall in Douglas.
Entitled ‘A Helping Hand: The social influence of Freemasonry on our Island’ it will be given in the upper meeting room at the hall.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available, with no admission charge but donations can be made.
