A yellow weather warning for coastal overtopping will come into place at 10:30am this morning.
Strong south-easterly winds will give a moderate to rough sea with slight overtopping of water and a little debris onto windward roads and promenades around the time of high water at 12:15pm.
Areas affected areDouglas promenade, Laxey and Ramsey promenades, parts of Shore Road (Rushen), and to a lesser extent Castletown promenade.
The warning will remain in place until 2pm.
