Vagabonds Ladies scored six tries on Saturday to beat Macclesfield 36-17 at Ballafletcher.
The win saw them claim revenge for a defeat earlier in the season in Women’s NC 2 North (South).
The visitors struck early with a try in the opening minutes, but Vagas responded quickly to turn the tide.
First-half tries from Corinna Daly, Lauren Ellison and Freya Crowe was backed up by a solid defensive display that limited Macclesfield to just one more score before half time.
The pressure continued in the second half, with Greeba Taisia, Ros Mcnair and Bea O’Neill all touching down to extend the lead further.
Captain Sammie Mac added the extras with three well-taken conversions despite the windy conditions at Ballafletcher.

“We still sit in fourth in the league table, however the gap between 3rd and 4th closes.”
