At least two pedestrian crossings or raised areas on Douglas Promenade will be repaired before the end of the current financial year.
The update was provided in a written response to Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Tim Glover, who asked when the repair work would take place.
The Minister Tim Crookall MHK said that other crossings will be progressed subsequently, but did not give specific dates for those works.
He added that any safety‑critical defects on the Promenade will continue to be addressed in line with the Department of Infrastructure’s maintenance standards.
The written answer can be found here.
