The RAF Red Arrows are due to perform over Douglas Bay at 7:30pm this evening, with weather conditions being monitored throughout the day.
If low cloud lingers, the team will adjust their display.
Large crowds are expected along Douglas Promenade, Douglas Head and Onchan Head, and police are urging people to walk where possible. Traffic is expected to be heavy, and drivers are being advised to park elsewhere in Douglas and walk to their chosen viewing point.
Officers will be on duty to help manage traffic, but congestion around the Promenade and surrounding roads is likely. Police say Douglas Head and Onchan Head will be “extremely busy” and are encouraging people not to drive up, but to walk instead.
People are being asked to arrive early if they must drive, as preferred viewing spots may fill quickly.
