The airport recorded a 6% increase in passengers during this year’s TT period, handling 56,106 travellers between May 22 and June 9.

This was across scheduled flights, private jets and general aviation.

Aircraft movements were 2% lower than in 2025, a dip attributed to reduced general aviation activity during periods of weather‑related disruption, including fog.

Airport Director Mark Beveridge praised staff and partners for their efforts during what was his first TT in post, highlighting the “dedication, professionalism and commitment” shown across the airport community. He also thanked airlines for adding extra capacity and passengers for their patience during challenging conditions.

The Airport said the strong performance underlines its role in supporting the island’s visitor economy and wider connectivity. As the summer season continues, it will work with airline and operational partners to maintain resilient services and a positive experience for travellers.
