Isle of Man Creamery tanker driver Paul Turner set off at 7am this morning on the first leg of a two‑day, 102‑mile walk to every dairy farm on the island.
He’s taking on the challenge to raise money for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, where his granddaughter Imogen has received life‑saving care since 2017.
Turner, who usually spends his days collecting milk from farms across the island, is covering the southern route today before completing the northern circuit on Saturday.

In November 2017, Imogen was airlifted to Alder Hey after doctors discovered a brain tumour. She spent a month in hospital before travelling to Germany for further treatment.
After years of check‑ups and an extraordinary milestone of being eight years clear, the tumour was found to have returned during a routine appointment.
She has since undergone further operations and was recently airlifted back to Alder Hey for additional treatment.
The walk is Turner’s way of giving back to the hospital that has supported Imogen throughout her journey.
He will visit every dairy farm on the island and residents are encouraged to cheer him on if they spot him along the route, and to donate if they can.
