Global Gaming Solutions has appointed former Gambling Supervision Commission inspector Hannah McCune to lead its newly launched Internal Audit and Assurance service for regulated iGaming firms.
The Onchan‑based compliance advisory firm says demand for deeper, hands‑on support has grown as regulators in the Isle of Man, UK and Malta tighten enforcement and issue record financial penalties.
The GSC’s largest civil penalty to date, £5.6m, reduced to £3.9m, was issued last year, and new regulations now allow fines of up to £50,000 for individuals in key roles.
UK penalties have also escalated, with percentage‑based fines tied to revenue and a £10m penalty issued in 2025.
McCune, who worked on high‑profile AML/CTF cases during her time at the GSC and previously spent seven years supporting licence holders internationally, will oversee a service designed to give operators a regulator‑level assessment of their compliance frameworks.
The new offer includes policy reviews, player‑data sampling, control testing, mock inspections, board‑ready reporting and practical remediation support.
Managing Director Mark O’Neill said independent assurance is now “an essential safeguard for protecting licences, reputation and long‑term success”.
McCune said the service combines a regulatory perspective with “comprehensive but practical” ongoing support for clients.
