Ramsey RNLI was called out in the early hours of this morning after a fishing vessel reported difficulties around two miles east of the harbour entrance.
The lifeboat launched at 12:10am and was quickly alongside the vessel. As the crew recovered their anchor, a tow was established and the boat was brought safely back to Ramsey Harbour by 1:30am
The recovery was completed ahead of the incoming tide, with the SLARS team ensuring the lifeboat was returned to its carriage just as the beach became unusable.
The lifeboat was rehoused and ready for further service shortly after 2:30am.
